in short, yes.
There is a chance of being banned with a modded xbox 360. mine is modded, and i play online occasionally, and i have not been banned yet.
I play cod 5 online most, so i burned it to the harddrive and play from there. I believe microsoft can't tell it is modded if playing from the hd.
And to the first poster..... do some research. Even if they have your ip address, they are banning your console. So if u did buy a new console, you could still play online.Can an xbox 360 play burnt games and Live without beign banned?
You can't. I would suggest getting the normal Xbox, not modding it, and playing Live. Then if you really want to burn copies, buy just the console (no cords or hard drive) for cheap and just use the cords and hard drive from your normal xbox.
no as soon as u mod ur 360 and then u get on xboxlive microsoft will detect it an u will be ban forever, and even if u buy another xbox u will still be banned cus they have ur i.p address.
so dont mod.
yes, if your xbox 360 is modded, you can play games on xbox live without being banned.
