EDIT: Yes, it either needs to be chipped or flashed. But, that is illegal unless you are using it to backup your purchased games. Basically Just get someone to flash your drive, the person that just said " the new dash is going to end all modding " doesnt know what they are talking about im sorry!

The new dash will temporarily stop jtagged consoles going online .

There may well be a banwave as well as it is nearing xmas and we all know how MS operate right!

However you can flash and then you can download iso files and burn them to disc and play the games. This is legal in the UK as long as its a backup of an original disc that you own.
