Yeah as soon as you sign on live you'll be detected and your console will be banned. It's not like the old xbox whee you wouldn't get caught. Their security is a lot higher now. Can i get banned from xbox live with a modded xbox 360 if i ONLY go on live with retail games?
Yes indeed you can. I have a friend who stays offline with his modded xbox for that reason. The can kill your disk drive if they detect it. "EVEN IF YOU ARE USING A RETAIL GAME". only if you affect others playing. if you stay offline then you shouldn't have trouble
