It is illegal, So most likely yes... If you could play it on Windows Live,
But from what I know if you pirate a game on the PC, You can't play it on Live, get achievements, or anything. You can only just play the game...

Fallout 3 Serials work for Resident Evil 5 (Assuming by Pirated Games You mean borrowing a DVD from a friend who wont give u a serial key and ull be using another games serial)

I first got a legal but serial-less copy of Fallout 3 from Russia. (I payed $50/拢40 for it so its legal or one costly illegal rip-off)
I then purchased a English definately-legit copy.
I used that serial for Fallout 3 and a russian version of RFG...

What will happen is you will recieve an update for your x-box live account, you have too accept it too continue to play on x-box live. once you have accepted it it will shut down your console permanetly.
just quit your account and make a new ojne (but don't use copy's on it!)
If it's detected, yes. But most likely, your pirated game won't be connected to Windows LIVE, such as my brother's copy of Fallout 3 isn't.

copied games always get banned, only a matter of time.
