What happens to PSN and Xbox Live Arcade games?

After Xbox 720 and PS4 come out and Xbox Live and PSN are no longer supported, what will happen to these games? Will they transfer over to the next-gen consoles or will they no longer be available. What happens to PSN and Xbox Live Arcade games?
You will still probably be able to download/transfer them onto the new console like how you can download GTA: San Andreas onto your xbox.

I really doubt we will see a new console for another 5 years or so. Big budget games are taking a very long time to make now (3 - 7 years) and I don't think there have been any major technological advances in the gaming industry where a new console would be much improvement from the current ones. What happens to PSN and Xbox Live Arcade games?
If the 720 comes out soon which it probably won't its rumored to come out in anywhere from 2013-2015, it will most likely support its predecessors format and also be linked to your XBL Account...when you buy games on the Live network and you sell your xbox 360, you can still purchase a new xbox and recover your XBL account and re-download any arcade games you've purchased. Why you would play those games years from now is still in quetion, but you will most likely still be able to play them. What happens to PSN and Xbox Live Arcade games?
There will still be xbox live and psn. I had an original xbox and played halo 2 with my friend who had a xbox 360
